You may have heard that Axiatel is now part of the j2 family.

We want to keep you informed of any changes you might experience.
For this reason, we have compiled a list of answers to any questions you may have.

1. Axiatel is now part of the j2 Global family. What does that mean for me? »

We’re thrilled to announce that Axiatel is now part of j2 Global. J2 is the owner of eFax®, a provider of cloud-based, advanced faxing services, as well as many other high-end communications brands. The technology behind these brands are what are now powering Axiatel.

2. I don’t know how to use the new login page. How do I log in? »

You will now log in using the eFax® login page. Instead of supplying your email and password, as you did with Axiatel, you will be asked for your fax number, PIN and password.

Go to the Axiatel Authentication page and log in as you always have. The page will redirect you to the eFax® login page. Enter your information and you’ll be brought back to your Axiatel console.

3. How will my Axiatel user experience change? »

Apart from the eFax® logo at the top of the login page, the biggest change you’ll notice will be a host of great new features, including:

  • Mobile Faxing: You can now send faxes on iOS and Android. Just download the free eFax app.
  • Large File Transfer: Axiatel now gives you the ability to send files of up to 3 GB in size. Read more about this feature here.
  • E-Signature Capability: You can now sign faxes with a swipe of your finger using the free eFax® app.

4. Will my fax number change? »

No, your fax number will not change. Apart from the eFax® login page and new features, you won’t notice any changes in the functionality of your account.

5. Will my pricing structure change? »

The cost of an average fax load (150 faxes sent and received per month) will go down. We’ll update this page with further information as we calculate our new pricing.

6. Can I log in to my old Axiatel account? »

Your old account is now integrated with eFax®. You can use the Axiatel console as you did before – the only change will be the new login page.

7. Who do I contact now for support? »

8. Do I need to change my billing information? »

No. Your transition to eFax®will not affect your billing information.

9. Is j2 Global a VAT registered company? »

j2 Global Ireland Ltd is located in Dublin, Ireland. If you are a UK VAT registered company, you will not be subject to Irish VAT. If you have not already provided your VAT number, please contact us to do so. Otherwise, taxes are levied at 23% (Irish VAT rate).
